David Tessler is an accomplished trial lawyer, who brings over 25 years of experience in the field, specializing in medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. with expertise in all types of negligence cases, including auto, labor law and trip and fall cases. He is admitted to practice in New York as well as New Jersey. Mr. Tessler graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Hamilton College in 1989, followed by a JD from Fordham University Law School in 1992.
Mr. Tessler has won numerous verdicts and settlements for his clients, including multi-million dollar cases. These cases cover a diverse range from labor/delivery to failure to diagnose cancer to surgical errors. He also represents workers injured on job sites through negligence not covered by Worker's Comp, as well as those harmed in motor vehicles accidents or trip/slip and fall incidents.
In addition to his practice, Mr. Tessler has been an active member of the New York County Lawyers Association for many years and served as Chairman of its Civil Rights Committee for 2 years. He has also been a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and New York State Bar Association. He currently serves on the Board of the BBNL, a local networking association. Mr. Tessler also volunteers for the New Jersey Y Camps, a social service organization, serving on the Program Committee.
